Ramón Charles
Ramón is a Toronto-based Multidisciplinary Creative, Art Director. Editor, and Motion Designer crafting beautiful visual work for Film/Television and Advertising clients. For nearly two decades, Ramón has been adding his visual stamp and artistic vision on countless award winning films, documentaries, tv series, show packages, music videos, brand films, social campaigns and advertising projects for broadcast networks, production companies, top agencies and brands.
His work on Black & Abroad’s GoBackToAfrica campaign received top honours at Cannes Lions, winning a much coveted Grand Prix, as well as other elite industry awards. He has been recognized as the #2 Designer in Canada for 2020, and #1 Art Director in the country in 2021 by Strategy Magazine’s Creative Report Card
He holds a BFA in Fine Arts from The University of Toronto as well as being a graduate of the Media Arts Program at Sheridan College.
Ramón is an artist at heart who balances craft and content, adding visual layers to his storytelling to create engaging experiences. He is always looking to challenge and surprise viewers with his work, constantly experimenting, evolving, and delving into the unknown.
