When I was presented the opportunity to edit a few episodes of Balade À Toronto, I was both excited and intimidated. Mostly because the content was all French, but having been exposed to the language for most of my life I figured it would be a great opportunity to tackle content from this perspective.

BALADE À TORONTO

Balade À Toronto is part music documentary and part travel show now in it's 4th season (2017). Each episode features an invited Franco-Canadian artist / band who spends 2-days in Toronto where they perform 3 tracks at legendary Phase One studios and visit cool places that compliment their interests. The show has a great energy and a fantastic look. Not only did I get a chance to work on a wonderful show with the superstar Machine Gum team, but I've also had the pleasure of being exposed to some truly incredible artists.

BALADE

BAT evolved into balade. this time instead of the artists visiting Toronto, balade travelled to the cities where the artists resided and we were taken into their worlds a bit more, exploring the places and spaces that bring them inspiration.

My role on this new iteration of Balade was in creating the branding + show packages including the show opener for Seasons 1 & 2.
